# PDFSpruce

> PDFSpruce is a free browser-based PDF editor. No account is required. Selected PDF and image files are processed in the browser; the service does not upload document content to a processing server.

PDFSpruce can add text, draw, highlight, add shapes and visual signatures, fill standard PDF forms, and merge, split, extract, reorder, rotate or delete pages. The workspace limit is 50 MB total and 150 source pages.

It does not rewrite existing paragraphs, perform OCR, create certificate-backed digital signatures, or securely redact page content. Form fields are flattened on export. Signed, encrypted and XFA files are unsupported. Keep originals and review exported files.
