How to use this tool
- Choose JPG, PNG or WebP. For one image, the crop preview shows the area that will remain.
- Pick square (1:1), landscape (4:3 or 16:9), or portrait (3:4 or 9:16). Use the position sliders to move the kept area. Batch mode applies the same ratio and relative position to each image.
- Optionally set a maximum width or output format, then crop and download the result or a ZIP. Review each batch result; photos with different compositions may need separate positions.
Does cropping stretch or enlarge the image?
No. The crop removes pixels outside the selected rectangle, and a maximum width only scales down. The original image remains unchanged on your device. PNG output can be larger than the source because browser encoders differ; when cropping, the new pixels must be encoded into a new file. This is an aspect-ratio crop, not a freeform polygon or object-removal tool.
Are my images uploaded?
No. Processing takes place in the isolated browser workspace. The public page may load analytics and advertising code, but it cannot read files selected in the workspace. Images and results are held in browser memory while the tab is open. Read how local processing works and our privacy information.
