How to use this tool
- Choose JPG, PNG or WebP images. Each file must be 20 MB or less and 30 megapixels or less; a batch can have 20 images and 80 MB of input.
- Set a maximum width to shrink large images without stretching small ones. For JPG or WebP output, lower the quality slider if a smaller file matters more than fine detail.
- Process the images, compare the original and new sizes, then download one result or a ZIP of the batch. Check the result before sharing it.
Which image format should I choose?
JPG is useful for photos and makes transparent pixels white. PNG preserves transparency and uses lossless encoding, so it may not get smaller. WebP often produces smaller files and can preserve transparency; browser support for WebP export varies. If re-encoding an image in its original format without resizing would make it larger, PDFSpruce keeps the original file bytes.
Are my images uploaded?
No. Processing takes place in the isolated browser workspace. The public page may load analytics and advertising code, but it cannot read files selected in the workspace. Images and results are held in browser memory while the tab is open. Read how local processing works and our privacy information.
